Experiencing making artworks in 3D in a life model class run by professional French artist Philippe Charmes. This fun and practical course was ideal to refresh and concentrate on a job of a completely different nature that engaged both your mind and your body fully. 

The sculpture class was discontinued in 2023 when the professor left Hong Kong.

You learned basic sculpture techniques and principles while exploring human anatomy, proportions and space. This helped you understand the forms and planes to better represent the human in sculpting and drawing. Working in clay directly from a life model. This practical course was ideal to refresh and concentrate on a job of a completely different nature that will engage both your mind and your body fully. By working in 3D while closely observing a life model you could better understand the structure and volumes, which will also help when drawing.
